What are the hours and days of the week the therapy office is open?
(Times are Central Standard)
Mondays: Closed
Tuesdays: 9:00am-5:00pm
Wednesdays: 9:00am-5:00pm
Thursdays: 9:00am-5:00pm
Fridays: 9:00am-12:00pm
What types of classes are offered for continuing education (CEUs)?
Continuing education classes are generally for social workers, counselors, nurses, psychologists, teachers, and those in the helping professions.

What insurances are accepted?
Most major insurances are accepted, including:

What types of individuals are seen for therapy?
Adults who live and/or work in the central Arkansas and surrounding areas.
What types of issues do you treat?
At The Green Fern Therapy & Services, we frequently see people who are experiencing things like anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, anger management issues, relationship issues. Many times, a person coming into therapy for the first time may not know exactly what is going on with them.. just that they are struggling.
What does it cost to have a therapy session?
The first session, known as the Therapy Intake or Diagnostic Session is $225.00. Therapy sessions after the first cost $200.00.
Do you offer private/self-pay or a sliding scale for people who do not have insurance?
Yes, private/self-pay is accepted. Also, sliding scale pay is available for those who qualify. You must request an application.
What are the qualifications of a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW)?
A LCSW must have a masters degree in social work (about 7 years of college after high school). Then, a proficiency test must be passed to obtain the initial licensure. Then, after a period of professional supervision (usually about 2 years), and passing a second proficiency test, a person is certified as an LCSW.
